Skills Academy teaches trades to special needs students
After Randee Van Ness discovered her special needs children's instructor was picking them up late, dropping them off early and not teaching them anything, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Van Ness founded the Skills Academy that takes special needs students and trains them in vocational trades among other life skills such as budgeting so they can be closer to self sufficiency.
