No. 4 Air Academy (6-3) at No. 2 Fountain-Fort Carson (8-1), 7 p.m. Friday

A nonconference game between two playoff teams. Kadets are seeded No. 15 and need to win to make sure they qualify for the 16-team playoffs. The Trojans, possibly seeded seventh, need to win to get a home playoff game.

Pueblo South (9-0) at No. 3 Sierra (8-1), 7 p.m. Friday

Stallions host Colts for 4A Foothills Conference title.

No. 5 Rampart (2-7) at Arapahoe (2-7), 7 p.m. Friday

Rams are seeded 34th in 5A, and are out of the 32-team playoffs.

No. 6 Lewis-Palmer (4-5) at Wasson (2-7), 6 tonight

Rangers have chance to finish at .500 but face Wasson's Tanner Hidrogo.

Castle View (0-9) at No. 7 Cheyenne Mountain (4-5) 7 tonight

Indians have a chance to finish .500 against a team playing out its season.

Pueblo Centennial (3-6) at No. 8 Canon City (8-1), 7 p.m. Friday

The Tigers, led by Damon McCain's 2,178 yards rushing, need to win to secure second in 3A Southern behind Pueblo County.

No. 9 Doherty 52, Lakewood 39

Senior quarterback Dakota Barr threw for 106 yards and a touchdown in Wednesday's season finale to lead the Spartans (3-7) past Lakewood (2-8). "This was the highlight of his senior year," coach Matt Wibbels said. "He was poised in the pocket and just kept marching us downfield." Jesse Tuttle ran for 158 yards while Mark Jones had a 90-yard TD kickoff return. Beau Kelly and Joey Montoya played well on defense, Wibbels said.

No. 10 Palmer (1-8) at Grand Junction (2-7), 5 tonight

Terrors quarterback Andre Brown has thrown for 1,633 yards and 10 touchdowns and rushed for 528 yards and five scores.


BEST OF THE REST

Manitou Springs (7-2) at Lamar (5-4), 7 p.m. Friday

Alex Reiter will have to look for other targets with receivers Dan Gieck and Zach Johnston out with injuries.

The Classical Academy (7-2) at Bennett (3-6), 7 p.m. Friday

Titans need to win to maintain third and a chance at the 2A playoffs.

Woodland Park (5-4) at Pueblo East (6-3), 7 tonight

Panthers must beat East for third in 3A Southern to reach playoffs.
