Mullen students wage brief protest after dismissal of football coach Dave Logan

About 100 students gathered in a parking lot Thursday morning to protest after Mullen High School sacked its longtime head football coach, Dave Logan.

The protest took place in a parking lot on the west side of campus, where students chanted "family" and some held up signs.

Several students said they felt they deserved an answer as to why the school had forced out its coach.

Logan - also the longtime voice of the Denver Broncos on KOA Radio, has guided teams to six state championships in his 19-year coaching career, including four at Mullen since 2003.
