Vanguard handled Peyton by 13 points on Saturday to run its winning streak to 12 games. The loss pushed the Panthers into a mix of four one-loss teams in the 2A Black Forest League (CSS, ECA and Calhan being the others). The ECA/Calhan rematch remains a week away, scheduled for Feb. 17.
