What is RSS?

An RSS feed is a standardized format for delivering the latest content from a website. RSS is usually said to stand for "Really Simple Syndication", because it is relatively easy to implement and use.

Programs that know what to do with RSS feeds are called "aggregators" or "feed readers", and there are a lot of them. Most are very easy to use. They all allow you to stay updated on the latest content from dozens or hundreds of sites at one time.

These are our available RSS feeds:

How do you read RSS feeds?

If your browser is Firefox, Internet Explorer 7+, or Safari (for Mac) you'll be able to read the feed through your browser. Simply click on the feed you'd like to subscribe to above. Once the feed loads, click the subscribe link or button.

Additionally, you can download a news agregator (feed reader) that will parse the information for you and display it in an easy to read fashion.

If you have an older browser, such as IE6, you'll need to upgrade your browser or use a feed reader. This is because matter what web site you're viewing RSS feeds cannot be read by an outdated browser.
