There was lots of hugs and applause as fifteen athletes from Air Academy announced letters of intent to college and universities during a ceremony at Air Academy High School on April 11. Miranda Beal who will play lacrosse for Navy, gets a hug from her basketball teammate Kauna Kama after the ceremony. Both girls were on the state basketball championship team this year.
