Mullen reports possible violations during tenure of coach Dave Logan

Mullen High School on Friday will self-report several possible rule violations involving its storied football program during the tenure of former head coach Dave Logan, The Denver Post has confirmed.

The report to the Colorado State High School Activities Association details potentially problematic issues involving player recruitment, misrepresentations about tuition obligations, unauthorized fundraising and more, according to sources familiar with a Mullen briefing today to staff, parents and others.

The potential transgressions involve assistant coaches under Logan during his nine-year tenure at Mullen, which included a run of four state championships and ended with his firing in January.
