Pikes Peak No. 3 Sierra 30, Lewis-Palmer 29 (OT)
At Lewis-Palmer: After Lewis-Palmer went ahead 29-22 in overtime, Yoshi Thomas tied the game for the Stallions and Jahmall Fountain won the game on a two-point conversion run.
With Sierra trailing 22-16 with less than three minutes left in regulation, Jamil Cooks blocked a Lewis-Palmer field goal attempt and Jarvis Harrod returned the ball 89 yards for the score to tie the game. A conversion run failed, sending the game into overtime.
"Got to give credit to my coaches for making great adjustments at halftime," said coach Joe Roskam. "Our kids responded to the pressure."
Falcon 26, Alamosa 23
At Falcon: Trailing 21-6 early in the first half, the Falcons surged back to score two touchdowns to cut the lead to 21-19 at the half before completing the rally in the second half.
Junior cornerback General Lee had two interceptions in the first half, one of which led to a Desmond Phillips touchdown with under five minutes in the half.
"At halftime, we told the kids to dig deep and never give up," said Falcon coach Jason Catron. "Somehow, I knew that they believed they could come all the way back and win the game."
Manitou Springs 17, CSCS 0
At Manitou Springs: The Manitou Springs defense shut down Colorado Springs Christian School's run game.
"We really spent a lot of time trying to stop their running game and it definitely paid off," said coach Jon McGee.
No. 9 Sand Creek 17, Widefield 6
At Widefield: After Paul Browning completed a 45-yard TD pass to Tony Faust in the fourth quarter for Widefield (0-2), Sand Creek's Dominique Harris answered back with a 33-yard run to put the game out of reach with 1:36 left for the Scorpions (2-0).
CSDB 40, Hanover 12
At the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind: Quarterback Nicholas Elstad recorded five touchdowns for the host Bulldogs (1-1) as he rushed for 220 yards and passed for another 105 against the Hornets (1-1).
Woodland Park 27, Pueblo Central 7
At Woodland Park: Jordan Buss rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Panthers (1-1, 1-0 3A Southern).
"They tried to make everything on the outside so we went to the middle," Woodland Park coach Brent Cottrell said. "He made some nice breaks between the tackles."

At Kadet Kickoff Classic: Martin Hiner had two assists to help the Kadets (2-1) edge Montrose (0-1), which sets up the semifinal against Widefield (2-0) at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Gladiators beat Denver South 3-2 after Terrance Taylor scored in the 55th minute.

At Fountain Valley Tournament: Sean Bogardus scored twice for the Grizzlies (3-0) to set up today's 11 a.m. championship game with James Irwin.

At Rampart: Junior Jake Johnson had two goals and an assist to lift the Rams (2-2).
