Monday's roundup: Fountain Valley drops Air Academy in OT in hockey

At Sertich: Jakub Myska redirected Sage Marshall’s shot 1:11 into overtime to give Pikes Peak area No. 1 Fountain Valley a crucial Peak Conference win and vault them into a four-way tie for first place.
No. 2 Air Academy’s Alec Ortiz took a roughing penalty with 10.2 seconds left in regulation to put the Danes (12-3, 10-1 conference) on the power play. Fountain Valley took advantage, when Myska’s tip fluttered past Air Academy goalie Jake Ebmeyer.
Paiute Morrison and Caleb Hurwitz also scored for Fountain Valley, which had a 3-2 lead heading to the final period. Myska also had an assist and was the only player in the game with more than one point.
The No. 3 Kadets (12-4-1, 10-3) tied the score early in the third on Sam Thrutchley’s goal.
Doherty 6, Lewis-Palmer 4
At Sertich: Patrick Alldredge posted a hat trick, his third goal the eventual game-winner, and Dusty Kachel scored an empty-netter to seal the win, as Doherty (13-4, 9-3 Peak Conference) remained two points off the pace of the four teams tied for first in conference.
Julian Claudio scored twice for Lewis-Palmer (7-7-1, 5-4-1).
Mountain Vista 13, Liberty 0
At Sertich: Brantt Heble notched a hat trick and four players, including Heble, had at least four points for Mountain Vista (14-3, 10-2).
Matt Huyge stopped 21 shots and Alex White stopped 33 for Liberty (1-15-1, 1-10-1).
